Country of Service: Nigeria
Years of Service: 1963-1965

As a Peace Corps volunteer, I taught secondary school English grammar and literature, African and Nigerian Geography.

I returned to West African for nine years 1972-81, where I did volunteer work as a trailing spouse and had our first child. From 2008-2010 I lived again in Liberia where I worked for ABA ROLI.

Peace Corps changed my life direction. I became a more global citizen, viewing my country more critically and better understanding the rest of the world. Along the way, I hope I helped a few others in their lives/journies.
